We have a team of highly trained and skilled therapists ready to treat a whole range of conditions from our dedicated clinic.
Terry Emery – Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays
Terry uses soft tissue therapy and manipulation to help people rehabilitate from injuries, improve functional mobility, improve performance and to give relief from acute and chronic pain. Terry is a third year osteopathy student at Staffordshire University and has diplomas in Soft Tissue Manipulation & Articulation and Remedial Massage.
Terry works with a wide range of people from different backgrounds including office and factory workers, committed gym users, mixed martial artists, grapplers, swimmers, runners, heroic weekend warriors and those of latter years.
“I’ve had an interest in training and nutrition from an early age. In fact the first book I ever read was Earl Mindell’s the Vitamin Bible.
I trained many times a week in various sports throughout my life and was injury free until I hit my forties and then things started to get harder and far more painful. Everyone used to comment on the amount of pain killers and anti inflammatory pills I took. Neck back shoulders elbows knees injury after injury. Training wasn’t fun anymore.
After I had many successful treatments from an osteopath and a remedial therapist I was able to kick the pain relief, prevent further injury and my performance and range of movement got so much better. I wanted to help others to do the same. After receiving my Diploma in Remedial therapy the first person I treated called me a week later and said her back felt amazing and that she had been able to sleep throughout the night without waking up in pain. I couldn’t have been happier.”
Sara Collingwood – Tuesdays & Fridays
Sara has a passion for treating clients with a variety of manual therapy techniques to support health, rehabilitation, mobility and overall wellbeing.
Sara is currently studying towards a Masters degree in Osteopathy and therefore draws upon these principles and practices to support her manual therapy skills to restore balance and harmony to the musculoskeletal system. She is trained in Sports, Swedish and aromatherapy massage and can adapt techniques to treat clients who present with a number of conditions including headaches, general postural strains, sporting injuries, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.
“I believe that a number of conditions can be successfully treated with manual therapy which supports a reduction in tension, discomfort and pain. There is no better feeling for me than helping someone to feel better and have an improved quality of life because of treatment that I have provided.”
